Repeat Prescriptionsmulticolour_pills

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • Online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration. Please ask at reception and you will need confirmation of your identity to register.
  • Hand deliver your repeat order form. Please put it in the box marked "Prescriptions" on the reception desk, or post it in the letter box on the side of the building, next to the main front door.
  • By post. Send you repeat order form with a stamped address envelope to Ashby Turn Primary Care Centre, The Link, Scunthorpe, DN 16 2UT.

Please note we cannot accept prescription requests by telephone.

If you require your prescription earlier than the date it is due, please state the reason why to prevent any unnecessary delay.

Medication Reviews

A medication review now consisits of an initial assessment with a Healthcare Assistant who will carry out a blood test if required for your annual review, any other checks i.e. blood pressure, foot check, height and weight etc. that are needed. The Healthcare Assistant will then make you a second appointment if necessary (depending on your medication and medical conditions) to complete your annual medication review with a practice nurse. This appointment will be made for a later date to allow for any blood test results to be available to the nurse at this appointment.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Unless you have made alternative arrangements with a pharmacy your prescription will be available at the surgery after 14:00.
